The Yahboom Raspberry Pi G1 Robot Tank is a nice little kit, Only a couple of notes about building it and what could be improved:
- It’s quite a few parts just to build a camera that can rotate in 2 directions, it would be cool if these parts were standardized and pre-built, for a plug-in connection with a base controller.
- Rotatable camera.
- Tracks with motors.
- Mountable ultrasonic sensors, led headlights, tracking sensors.
- It takes quite a while to build, so a robotics class would need to be simplified somehow.
- The last step of connecting components is annoying, the fact that the platform is suspended makes it difficult to screw in and also to disassemble.
